Lulu Bliss Patterns at Stitches West AND Downloadable!

Our very own Bobbin, Dolin O'Shea, is kicking butt in the design world!  We've always known that she was kind of a big deal around here and last week Ravelers' went CRAZY for her too!

We love to look at the "Hot Right Now" patterns on Ravelry to see who the new up and coming designers are in knitting and crochet.  When Dolin saw her company Lulu Bliss in not only the knitting page, but on the crochet "Hot Right Now" page too, she flipped!  She's really doing innovative designing, especially when it comes to crochet.  For years crafters have scoffed at crochet because they think it looks too "granny".  Well, scoff no more!  Dolin is making crochet cool!

Here's a bit more about the lovely and talented, Dolin O'Shea:
After spending 15 years in the fashion industry as a pattern maker and technical designer, in 2008, I decided to leave the corporate world behind to pursue more creative opportunities. I have gotten to hone my couture dressmaking skills by making quite a few wedding dresses. Discovered that I can write, by having a few published magazine articles and was able to do all the technical writing, illustrating and pattern making for two books(Girl’s World and Happy Home, both by Jennifer Paganelli. Check them out). I was also very fortunate to be able to work in a local yarn and fabric store, which showed me what a varied and inviting community the craft world can be. My next adventure is to expand on my independently published line of pattern for knitting, crochet and sewing.

Dolin's patterns will be in our booth at Stitches West AND here's the really cool news...we're offering her patterns as downloads in our online store too!  One stop shopping...yarn, needles or hook, pattern...voila!  Instant project!  What's not to like about that?

Come by and see us at Stitches West in booths 731-735 with Jordana Paige.  We're bringing Lulu Bliss patterns and kits, as well as Hazel Knits gorgeous hand-dyed yarns! Pin It
