Amy Butler Sweet Harmony Bag Sew Along at Bobbin's Nest!

Join us for the Amy Butler Sweet Harmony Bag Sew Along!

Amy Butler Sweet Harmony Bag

You may have seen this beautiful sample hanging in our shop. This project is a great way to get started sewing Amy Butler's great bags. Amy Butler's patterns are known for producing high-quality, professional-looking bags. They are also known for having loads of pieces, multiple types of interfacing, and features like zipper pockets, magnetic snaps, and piping. We can help!

This particular pattern eases you into the world of Amy Butler's bags by including some of the best features of her bags, but in a new-to-bag-sewing kind of way. In addition, this pattern gives you multiple options: you can make the handbag (which is what we made) or a larger tote, use a second coordinating fabric for the exterior pockets, or make one or two interior pockets (or none) that can either have zippers or not!

We have everything you need for this Sew Along at the shop, including the pattern, loads of great fabrics, and all the notions required!
Be sure to consult our staff when you purchase this pattern. We've made the project, so we can help you navigate the list of fabrics and notions required. (And since we've made it, we know that you need to make an adjustment or two to the list on the pattern envelope as well.)

And...if you buy the pattern from us, you'll be eligible to join us for complementary help sessions!

Our Sew Along sessions:
Sunday, August 7, 1-4pm
Sunday,August 21, 1-4pm
Sunday,August 28, 1-4pm

As space is limited in our class room, and we prefer to accommodate as many as possible that would like to participate, we request that you cut your fabrics and interfacing, and fuse your interfacings, at home before coming to the Sew Along help sessions.* The more we can fit in our sewing salon, the merrier!

*If you happen to have questions about how to do the cutting or fusing, feel free to call or stop by the shop any time outside of the help sessions and we'll be happy to assist you!

Call us at 408.246.1121 if you have any questions, and stop by the shop to pick up your pattern and select your fabric and notions so you can be ready to sew by August 7!
