Youth Sewing Class - Mini Room Makeover
Do you know a young person who wants to learn how to sew? We have a great class coming up at the end of June, that will be a perfect introduction into the world of sewing! They will learn all the basics, while doing a mini makeover on their room. The projects are:
-Design and create a standard bed pillowcase (pictured above)
-Add a decorative border to your own flat sheet (picture above)
-Make a throw pillow with a secret compartment (not pictured)
Each class is 3 hours over the course of 3 days, June 22-24 from 1-4 pm. The cost of the 3-day class is $135. You can use our sewing machines or bring your own.
Items that are needed for the class are: 3 yards of cotton fabric, 1/2 yard coordinating accent fabric, 6 yards of 1/2" wide double fold bia tape, a flat sheet that fits there bed, 16" square pillow form and coordinating thread.
We will be having another Youth sewing class in July that is all about making skirts. For students to take that class they will either have to have taken the June class or have taken a Sewing 101 class/private lesson. Please call us with any questions. Pin It
