Guest Blogger Amy: Great Tips on Hemming Anything!
Are you completely mystified by hems? We were talking about hemming in the Mendocino Sundress class on Sunday. Today at Sew, Mama, Sew!, Carla Crim has written an article that includes just about everything you've ever wanted to know about hemming all kinds of fabrics. She discusses how to decide what width is best for different applications, how to fold different types of fabrics, and what type of finish is best for different situations. She even talks about curved hems and knits, and you can download free folding templates that are complete genius. I'll be printing these out for sure!
