I am sad to report that my friend Susan has decided to sell her store in Southern California. It's a beautiful store with a great following of customers. Susan and I have been in this crazy business together for 3 years now, having met on a knitting cruise that she organized in 2007. We like to say that our stores are "sister stores" and that was recently apparent in our joint planning of our October, 2009 Couture and Color knitting retreat in Santa Barbara. Here are the details in case you or someone you know is interested.
Like Bonita itself, she is sweet, charming, and just around the corner. The minute her guests walk through the door, they feel her warmth as she makes them feel at home. But she isn't just all warm and fuzzy; she has a lot more to offer, like a great website, spacious classroom, sewing studio, kitchenette, close parking, two handicap entrances, and ample storage. But let's not forget the most important thing - her lovely and loyal customer base, who have all found their fiber home at Bonita Knit & Sew.
Have you ever dreamed of turning your fiber passion into your life's work? Do you want to feel all warm and fuzzy every time you go to work? Owning a yarn shop can give you so much more than an ordinary job, thanks to the amazing customers.
